Marcus Rashford The England international was given the nod to start in Barcelona’s 2-1 away win over Albacete. He was played in on goal early on but he casually side-footed his effort wide of the goal in a careless attempt. Rashford played a key role in Lamine Yamal’s opener when his jinking run found Frenkie de Jong, who finally laid the ball off for the Spaniard to curl into the net from distance. In the second half, he almost turned provider for Dani Olmo after racing down the left-hand side, but Olmo’s resulting effort was well blocked by the Albacete defence. Rashford finally got his reward when his fierce in-swinging corner was headed in by Ronald Araujo. He had two key passes in the match but could only connect with one of his seven cross attempts. The 28-year-old also completed 100% of his dribble attempts and tackles in a productive match to advance to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey. Devaney had one shot on goal that was blocked, but failed to complete either of his two tackles.
