Marcus Rashford The England international has found himself out of the starting line-up recently. He came on as a second-half substitute against Real Madrid in the Super Cup final and did start in the Catalan derby against Espanyol. Rashford has not been in the best form, as he has not scored in five matches. In addition, he has also only scored one goal in his last 14 appearances for the Catalans. Match vs Real Racing Club Barcelona travelled to face the top side in the Segunda División in the Copa del Rey after seeing their great rivals Real Madrid stunned by Albacete the night before. There was to be no upset though as Barca eventually made it through 2-0 with two second half strikes. Rashford was given the start and played 67 minutes of the match before being replaced by Raphinha. He had four shots on goal, with two hitting the target. On 44 minutes, he had a scuffed shot from the edge of the area that did not cause the Racing keeper any issues. A great ball by Lamine Yamal after half-time put Rashford through on goal, but his left-footed effort was well parried away by Jokin Ezkieta. He failed to complete any key passes in the match and was also unsuccessful in his only dribble attempt against the second-division side. The 28-year-old did complete 90% of his passes, though. Rashford also contributed defensively, winning four out of seven contested duels. He also won his one tackle and completed an interception and a clearance. Barcelona will travel to San Sebastián on Sunday evening to take on Real Sociedad in the league, where Rashford will be looking for more valuable minutes.
