These moves have also been complemented by the signings of Lea Schuller and Hanna Lundkvist, who both made their debuts in the 0-0 draw with Arsenal at the weekend. There are also rumours that Marc Skinner’s side are closing in on a new deal for Ellen Wangerheim from Hammarby. Emma Watson United have made their latest move, and it involves Scottish midfielder Emma Watson. The club’s official site reports that, “Manchester United Women have recalled midfielder Emma Watson from her loan spell with Crystal Palace.” Despite the 19-year-old signing a season-long loan in August, the club have decided to bring her home early from the loan at Selhurst Park. The Crystal Palace site reports that, “Watson was voted the TEN Player of the Month for October, after she grabbed an assist against Sunderland and a brace against Ipswich Town.” She made a total of eight appearances for the Eagles, scoring two goals. The midfielder made her debut for United in the League Cup versus Everton in 2024. She also scored her first goal for the club against Newcastle United in the same competition, before enjoying a successful loan spell at Everton for the second part of last season.
