United fighting with Real Madrid to sign “record-breaking” striker, in talks with player’s camp to secure transfer – report

Manchester United are prepared to compete with Real Madrid for the signature of a Leicester City prodigy. Much has been made about the immense potential of Jeremy Monga, who has established himself as a Leicester regular at 16 years old. A number of clubs, including United, are keeping an eye on his development in the Championship. However, he is not the only Leicester starlet raising eyebrows with his talent.  Manchester United want to sign Lorenz Hutchinson According to Fichajes, Manchester United and Real Madrid are interested in Lorenz Hutchinson, Leicester City’s “record-breaking” attacker.  It is claimed both clubs are “closely monitoring” the 2008-born striker, who has scored 13 goals and assisted three times in 11 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League so far this season. The 17-year-old has impressed with his physicality, goal-scoring instinct, and mature decision-making in and out of possession.  It is understood United are keen on adding promising youngsters to their ranks and believe Hutchinson has the potential to be part of their frontline in the future. However, the Red Devils face strong competition from Los Blancos. The Spanish outlet claims United and Real have received “positive reports” about Hutchinson. Furthermore, they are thought to be in “constant contact” with the player’s representatives.  Ex-Real Madrid boss fancies Manchester United job At the moment, United are prioritising bringing in a new manager to lead their project. INEOS are considering several high-profile options, including former Real manager Carlo Ancelotti. Recently, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming Ancelotti, who won three Champions League trophies with the Spanish giants, has “always coveted the Manchester United job and wanted an opportunity to do that before he retired.” Currently, Ancelotti is managing Brazil, and United would have to wait until after the World Cup for the prolific tactician.
