Manchester United are stepping up their attempts to strengthen their striker options, as Benjamin Sesko’s injury has exacerbated an already problem area for Ruben Amorim.  United brought in Sesko from RB Leipzig to replace the underperforming Rasmus Hojlund over the summer. The relatively inexperienced Slovenian lacks the killer instinct, but he has still improved the side’s attack with his clean and strong hold-up play. In his absence, Amorim handed Joshua Zirkzee his first start of the season, and the Dutchman’s uninspiring performance explained why the United head coach waited so long.
