Manchester United have approached Borussia Dortmund to check in on Karim Adeyemi’s uncertain situation. As things stand, BVB are pushing to extend the attacker’s deal ahead of its 2027 expiry. While it still gives them plenty of time to negotiate new terms, Dortmund will be sweating over the prospect of losing such a highly-rated attacker for absolutely nothing. He is currently valued at around £53 million by Transfermarkt, although the club’s valuation will undoubtedly be higher.Adeyemi is unsettled at the Signal Iduna Park this season(Photo by Stuart Franklin/Getty Images)From Adeyemi’s perspective, he has little to no desire to continue working under head coach Niko Kovac amid a public fall-out with the manager.Kovac hasn’t shied away from expressing his frustrations over the player’s performances from the touchline and has dropped him from the starting XI for the last two Bundesliga outings.Adeyemi has since enlisted the help of agent Jorge Mendes in hopes of securing either an improved contract with a release clause, worth around £70m, or a move elsewhere.Mendes is no stranger around Old Trafford, and more recently facilitated both Leny Yoro’s and Manuel Ugarte’s transfers to the club. How is Adeyemi faring in attack?(Photo by Carl Recine/Getty Images)The 23-year-old hasn’t been at his best since the campaign got underway, returning just two goals and an assist in 11 league appearances. He has had slightly more luck in the Champions League, though, having notched a goal and two assists in only four games.
