33% cross accuracy, 20% duels won: Rashford revival grinds to a halt in CL epic in Belgium

Manchester United academy graduates Marcus Rashford and Harry Amass were in action last night for their respective loan teams last night. Marcus Rashford The winger has been in blistering form for FC Barcelona this season but that came to a halt against Club Brugge KV. The Belgians impressively held the Catalans to a 3-3 draw in a thriller. He played 83 minutes of the match and made one key pass during his time on the pitch. Rashford completed 81% of his passes and connected with one of his three cross attempts on the night. The winger had a total of five shots on goal but only one was on target. The 28 year old was also unsuccessful in his only dribbling attempt. Defensively he did win a tackle but could only come out on top in one of his five ground duels on a disappointing night in Bruges. Rashford will next be in action when Barcelona travel to Galicia to face Celta Vigo on Sunday night. He had two key passes in the game and was credited with creating one big chance during the match. Amass successfully completed 88% of his passes on the night and also one out of his two crosses found their intended target. The defender was also strong protecting his goal, winning five ground duels and two aerial contests. The wing back will likely next be in action when The Owls travel to Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
