INEOS and Manchester United fans will welcome the latest reports from Turkey regarding wantaway star Jadon Sancho.
Hopes had been high when the Englishman sealed his switch to Old Trafford in 2021, but he never truly lived up to expectations at the Theatre of Dreams.
A lack of consistency, combined with off-field issues, has led to him falling out of favour at the club.
United have long considered parting ways with him, and fortunately, this summer may finally bring that opportunity.
Juventus submit offer for Sancho
The Peoples Person has relayed reports claiming Juventus have made a £15 million bid (which is below United’s valuation) for Sancho.
It is understood that the winger favours a move to Serie A and is even willing to accept a pay cut to facilitate the move.
Although United are reportedly open to compensating the 25-year-old financially to facilitate his exit, it remains unclear whether they will accept the offer on the table.
That uncertainty means the deal could still fall apart.
If it does, Sancho risks being back to square one, with no other European heavyweight as determined as the Bianconeri.
If not Juve… then who?
According to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Sancho and his representatives have prepared a contingency plan in case the Juventus move (or any deal with a top European club) falls through.
Sabuncuoglu confirms that Sancho’s entourage are currently in Turin, actively discussing the proposed transfer with the Italian giants.
However, despite their efforts, they have also lined up a Plan B: a move to Turkey, where Sancho believes there is interest.
“Jadon Sancho is willing to move to Turkey if he can’t find a team in Europe’s top five leagues,” Sabuncuoglu reveals.
“He is demanding a salary of £13 million a year from Turkish sides, and Beşiktaş are not willing to pay this.
“His agent is in Turin for talks with Juventus, as he favours them.”
Such updates will be music to INEOS’ ears.
There is now genuine hope United can finally cut their losses on the £73 million Ole Gunnar Solskjær signing.
But the question remains: Can Juventus convince United to greenlight the transfer?
If not, clubs like Galatasaray or Fenerbahce (both previously linked) could have a real shot at signing Sancho and unleashing him in the Super Lig, as he pushes to revive his career and make England’s FIFA 2026 World Cup squad.
