Inconsistent United star desperate to remain in the PL, two sides express their interest but only on one key condition – report

Manchester United need to figure out what to do with Jadon Sancho as soon as possible to stop his future from turning into a full-blown saga that might end up creating a huge distraction for the first team.

An inconsistent loan spell at Chelsea meant the Blues stopped short of turning his loan spell into a permanent one despite their obligation to buy.

The Blues will be forced to pay a £5 million penalty to the Red Devils after the player refused to take a paycut to join the London outfit.

The 20-time English league champions tried offering the Englishman to West Ham United, including as part of a swap deal involving Mohammed Kudus. Graham Potter rejected both proposals.

Jadon Sancho wants to stay in the Premier League

Ruben Amorim clearly does not want the 25-year-old around, with the attacker attracting interest from Saudi Arabia.

But as SportsBoom have now revealed, the England international wants to stay in the Premier League at this stage of his career instead of moving to the Middle East.

Newcastle and Brentford have emerged as potential suitors, with the Magpies keen to strengthen following missing out on Bryan Mbeumo, who is Old Trafford-bound, while the Bees incidentally are the club who have decided to sell him.

While his asking price of £25 million is not expected to be a major issue for either club, his wages of £250,000 per week (via capology) could prove to be a stumbling block.

While the Magpies will need to rely on sales to make space for Jadon Sancho in their wage bill, the London side will need the ex-Manchester City academy star to take a 50 per cent pay cut.

“Newcastle United and Brentford have expressed an interest to buy Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, SportsBoom can reveal.

Newcastle, Brentford eyeing Jadon Sancho

“Sancho is understood to be wanted by a number of top European clubs, but SportsBoom understands the former England international’s desire is to remain in the Premier League

“Newcastle could be in a position to meet Sancho’s salary if they cash in on Anthony Gordon or Alexander Isak. Brentford, on the other hand, would likely need Sancho to accept a 50% pay cut to make the move viable, although the anticipated fee from a potential sale of Mbeumo could help fund the deal.”

He has already turned down Chelsea, so it makes little sense that he will agree to lower his demands to play for Brentford. While Eddie Howe is unlikely to entertain a player accused of laziness and tardy timekeeping at Newcastle.

Options seem to be running out for the former Borussia Dortmund star. United will be desperately hoping to find a solution as soon as possible.
