Man United are exploring a move for Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba, according to reports.

The Red Devils believe that agreeing personal terms with the Cameroon international won’t be an issue. However, getting a deal in place with Brighton will be tough.

Baleba is not a player that the Seagulls are intending to sell this summer, so it could take a sizeable fee to prise him away from the Amex.

If United can secure the 21-year-old’s signature, though, he could prove to be an invaluable asset for head coach Ruben Amorim.

Press the next page as we look at four stats that demonstrate why supporters should get excited by the prospect of his arrival at Old Trafford.
