Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been named as a priority signing for Wolves this month.

Erik ten Hag is slowly but surely turning this squad into one that fits his image and style. Understandably, these things take time.

The Dutchman, who has started life in Manchester nicely, has had a relatively quiet January transfer window so far.

Our thought has always been United will have to sell before they can buy this month. Purely because the Glazers, who are trying to move away from United, won’t be dumping money into an asset they no longer want to have.

One man who could be on the way out is Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Diogo Dalot has taken up the starting right-back role, though to the Englishman’s credit, he has played well when called upon.

Now, journalist Santi Aouna, shared the latest on Wan-Bissaka’s future. Apparently, the 25-year-old United player is viewed as a ‘priority’ signing for Premier League club Wolves. They have already expressed interest in the Englishman.

Wan-Bissaka, who cost United £50m under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is still viewed as a valuable asset. It’s unclear whether this move would be a permanent one or a loan at this point.

United are probably hoping for a permanent sale, with Ten Hag not really keen on Wan-Bissaka from day one.

The problem for the Old Trafford club then becomes about replacing Wan-Bissaka. United cannot let him leave without bringing someone in, as that’d leave Dalot as the only starting right-back.

Honestly, I feel as though this one could go either way. United may choose to strike while the iron is hot on Wan-Bissaka, though an argument can be made to keep ahold of the ex-Crystal Palace man until the end of the season.

Do you think Man United should let Aaron Wan-Bissaka go to Wolves this month? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
