1 key pass, 100% long pass accuracy: United loanee helps spark dramatic derby comeback off the bench

Manchester United loanees Radek Vitek and Jadon Sancho had differing experiences on Sunday for their respective loan sides.

Sancho continued his uptick in form, as Chelsea came from behind to defeat Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage.

After a long barren spell, he had scored one goal and provided three assists in his previous three matches in all competitions.

The winger was named on the bench but came on at half-time with Chelsea 0-1 down at the break.

Sancho had one shot on target but could not add to his recent goal and assist revival. He made one key pass in the match and completed 73% of his passing attempts in the match. Nonetheless, he was able to complete all of his long ball attempts.

The Englishman had 37 touches of the ball but could not complete either of his two crosses. He could well next be in action on Saturday when Everton head to Stamford Bridge.

Radek Vitek played the entire 90 minutes of FC Blau-Weiß Linz’s 0-2 away defeat to Austrian Bundesliga leaders SK Sturm Graz.

It was Blau-Weiß’s fourth consecutive loss as their form has fallen off a cliff in the final stretch of the season.

The young keeper made two saves, with one coming from inside the box. He also made one high claim to alleviate the pressure from his backline.

Vitek only made 54% of his passes and his poor kicking was exemplified by only making five out of his 23 long ball attempts.

The Czech keeper will next be in action when BW Linz host Rapid Wien on Wednesday night as they aim to get back to winning ways.

Vitek has also not kept a clean sheet since February against LASK Linz and will hope to rectify that at the nearest point possible in the future.
