Rasmus Hojlund The Dane has had a rollercoaster of a loan spell at SSC Napoli but recently found his shooting boots with a brace against Juventus. On Thursday night, SSC Napoli took on AC Milan in the semi-final of the Italian Supercoppa. After 31 minutes, Hojlund held the ball up well and laid it off to fellow former Manchester United man, Scott McTominay, who fired an effort just wide of the post. The Dane also played his part in the Serie A champions’ opening goal when his cross was parried away by the Milan keeper but only into the path of David Neres, who tapped in their first goal of the match. Hojlund almost doubled his side’s lead with a great run and shot that was well turned away by Mike Maignan. The 22-year-old got his richly deserved goal on 63 minutes. He beat the Milan defence for pace and fired an unstoppable drive into the bottom corner. He had a total of three shots in the match, with two hitting the target. Hojlund also had two key passes and completed one successful dribble in the match. Napoli will now face Bologna in the final of the Supercoppa Italiana on Monday evening. Enzo Kana-Biyik The young French striker grabbed an assist for FC Lausanne-Sport in their 1-0 victory over Fiorentina in the Conference League. He showed strength and skill to dig out a cross for Gabriel Sigua to head home the only goal of the match. The 18-year-old also made two key passes, won 100% of his tackles, and six ground duels during his 70 minutes on the pitch. Ethan Wheatley Wheatley played 90 minutes of Northampton Town’s 3-1 victory over AFC Wimbledon on Friday evening. The young forward beautifully chested down a free kick delivery that was well finished by his teammate. As well as an assist, he had four shots on goal, with three efforts blocked. He also had one key pass and won four out of seven ground duels.
