Marcus Rashford Rashford’s Champions League dream came crashing down as FC Barcelona lost 2-3 to Atletico Madrid on aggregate at the quarter-final stage. He played the final 22 minutes of the match but failed to have any shots on goal. Rashford also failed with his only dribble attempt, but he did manage to make one key pass on the night. He also found a teammate from one of his crosses, but it did not lead to a goal. The 28-year-old also failed in his two ground duels but did win his only aerial battle. Dan Gore The midfielder tasted relegation as Rotherham United were soundly beaten 0-3 by Wigan Athletic. The Millers will now play in League Two starting from next season. Gore only completed 74% of his passes and failed to make a key pass during his time on the pitch. He also had one shot that was blocked by the Wigan defence. Gore also failed in his only dribble attempt to progress the ball up the pitch. The midfielder did win all three of his tackles, though, and won 80% of his ground and aerial battles in a combative display. He also made one interception and clearance on the night. Gabriele Biancheri The young Welsh forward was also given a start in The Millers’ defeat. He played 62 minutes of the loss and failed to have a shot on target. Biancheri also had no key passes and did not complete any of his dribble attempts on a difficult night. He also failed to make any of his tackle attempts. The young forward was also poor in duels, winning just 33% of his ground contests.
